Fairlady - February 2007

Rosa Monckton, the late Princess Diana's best friend, has launched a new range of jewellery and luxury gifts with a purpose. Monckton's daughter Domenica has Down's syndrome and was Diana's goddaughter. Monckton is well-known for having brought Tiffany's first store to London and for having been head-hunted by Apsrey & Garrard. Monckton has insisted that 5% of her sales be donated to charity - a caveat backers were initially wary of. But now she is up and running and you can see her wares at www.rosamonckton.com. Two of the charities that benefit from her sales are for people with Down's syndrome.
