Cherie Blair, wearing a burgundy trouser suit looked subdued as she left the launch party of Rosa Monckton's new jewellery line last night. Is Mrs Blair feeling the strain as the cash-for-honours police inquiry appears to be closing in on her hushand? Other guests at the Monckton party included Nigella Lawson, sister of Rosa's husband Dominic, literary agent Ed Victor, Harry Enfield, Bob Geldof and William and Ffion Hague. Monckton is a former chief executive of royal jeweller Asprey and Garrard. Alas she no longer has use of the helicopter that she used to commute from Sussex to London during her Asprey days.
